9 Years with a band going to a Sleeve

Hi all,

I just joinhed the forum. After 9 years with my lap band I got a hiatal hernia and band slip. On Saturday Aug 10th I am having a revision done to a sleeve. I've been warned about getting dumping syndrome and lactose intolerance. Anybody experience that? Any regrets going from a band to a sleeve? Thanks in advance for your replies.

I had my band for 8 years and had it removed and sleeved on 7/31

How are you doing with the sleeve? Are you happy with it?

I have heard that the first 8 weeks can be rough with lots of nausea. Hopefully your swelling will go down soon.
