I am the president of a marketing agency that focused on data, Analytics and digital. So far I am winning the nerd award. What a surprise (story of my life) :). Six days sleeved, yippee!

I am a sales engineer for an electrical company that sells to the construction industry. Needless to say I researched the procedure before signing up. Best move I ever made.

I am God..

No, sorry, that was my internal dialogue.

I do pan western/eastern hemisphere paper-clip distribution.

Nope, that's not it either, although it is often close.

Closer to the truth? I do legal navel inspection and belly button fluff removal in failed or fragile states.... :D

I work for an airline in the customer service field (I know crazy) and am a mom to an 8 year old boy who thinks he's 20. :-)

Love this thread.

I'm the codes and standards manager for a plastic piping company. Hold many positions on various construction code bodies and ensure my companies products and installations confirm to the appropriate codes and standards for the jurisdiction of installation.

I might be in the running for the need award!

Why are there so many nurses in need of this surgery?

I feel a little guilty, I think doctors are partially to blame. I know I was always advised if the nurses were giving you a hard time or paging you all night, the solution was bringing a box of donuts or cupcakes to the nurses' station!

I am a RP (Rapid Prototyping) Supervisor. I make the first of everything, from pen caps to helicopter engines. The parts are literally grown layer by layer using liquid photo polymers and UV lasers. In lay-mans terms....3D printing.

I love what I do. I have the opportunity to work on something different every day.

Although, prior to this I was in the Jewelry industry for 10 years. Prior to that I was a corrections officer.

Lets just say I am diversified.

I'm an instructor of human resource software for a large human capital management company. I do this from home (virtually) and I LOVE my job. I'm also a mom to 2 kids, 7 and 10. Prior to this, I was an HR professional.

I'm a 911 dispatcher for a three county dispatch center in Northern Michigan. I've been working midnight shifts for the last 12 years and for most of my adult life. I'm curious how many others would attest that shift work throws their eating habits (and sleeping) into a spiral of chaos?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
