For those at goal weight or almost there??

Hi guys I have a question for you?? I have lost 85 lbs of the 100lbs that I had to loose wich I'm so happy about it. But this last 15 lbs they don't want to come of. Ricght now I have a fill of 2.5cc in a 4 band. So I have a little bit of restriction. I've been trying to loose them for the past 2 month. I been going to the gym 4 to 5o times a week. People tell me I look like I have lost more weight wich I think it's just inches. But Should I go get a tiny fill. I'm devating this because I have to pay out of pockets. Or should I just wait another month and see what happens??

Thanks for your comments.

The question is, do you really need a fill ? You don't want to make yourself sick because your too tight. I'd up my Water intake, and make sure I'm staying away from sweets. How long have you been working out? Sometimes the inches come off before the pounds. Hope you see some results soon!

Ask yourself whether you really NEED The fill or whether you can make adjustments. Now I'm almost at goal I most definitely eat more than I did in the early days of banding, I'm more comfortable with a wider range of foods, and I'm not in that first flush of enthusiasm. I also exercise a lot more now being fit enough to run 10km instead of 3.

The weight is moving very very slowly for me now, it will be 2 months and I'll lose nothing and then suddenly a kilo is gone. Everytime we go away on holidays the activity levels rise (I run and walk heaps) and I tend to eat less when I'm busy and with other people, then the weight drops. I had my first PB ever though last week on holidays and so I know I have restriction, in fact I've been feelign tighter a lot lately.

Its just how those last pounds go. I do notice though that I lose a kilo, it feels like losing 7 at the start, each little gram off your body makes so much difference. Just hang in there, you're already enjoying the benefits of the weight loss, so there's no need to be anxious about it or hang out till you get there thinking that THEN you'll have made it. You already have! Enjoy it, and the rest will just trickle off slowly.
