Went out to dinner. 14 days post op

I went out to dinner tonight with my family. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was ganna be. I ordered just the salad bar. I had cottage cheese, ground chicken and I bite of my mothers cat fish. I only had a bite it two of each and I was stuffed. It wasn't as awkward as I thought it was ganna be. I was still able to have fun and it meant so much to me. I finally learned today you can still have a normal life. Big revelation. Did I mention I'm stuffed. I am also on a purée diet. Life is getting better.

Great NSV!

You can eat ground turkey 2 weeks post -op?? I should of had your doctor! I did manage to eat a 1/4 cup of chicken salad I made myself today but I'm not even supposed to eat that yet. I'm supposed to puree everything but my blender doesn't work so great so I just took teeny tiny bites & chewed, chewed, chewed! LOL!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time! I can't wait to eat out with my family again!
