I'm just worried that I will waste my money and I don't have a whole lot to spare....

I'm pre-op but I got the sample pack from Unjury. Its about $22 and you get two packets of each (chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, chicken soup and unflavored) and a mixing bottle and thermometer) I really like them. The only one in the pack I haven't tried yet is the chicken soup one. I just haven't been able to wrap my head around the idea of a chicken flavored shake. I'll have to force myself to give it a try in the week or two. Have my surgery 8/27 and I hear people are liking it as a change from the sweet.

EEK!

Use HOT (under 140 degrees) Water for the chicken (for a brothy thing). Not for shake (cold), at least not for me.

Heating it up would probably make it more appealing. That I might be able to handle. The thought of it cold and shakey was a hard concept for me.

EAS has good protein drinks. I like the choc and vanilla and buy them premixed. Also Nectar from Syntax is good. I like the roadside lemonade and the fuzzy navel is wonderful.
