You didn't screw yourself. Just make sure you don't give in tomorrow. It's nerve wracking' date=' exciting, crazy, stressful, and just about any other emotion you can come up with. How did the pizza really taste? Probably not so wonderful! After Monday you won't even WANT that pizza for a loooong time. We are all the type of people thAt have made excuses to not do things our whole life - diet, exercise, cook, etc. make this a reason you HAVE to get surgery! I am sure you will do just fine! You only have ONE MORE DAY! Take a deep breath, forgive yourself and get ready for your new life.[/quote']

Thanks Jillian, it was really good lol, but its killing my stomach right now. It's amazing how my body is reacting to it already. Your right I can do this. I have to do this, I have 2 small children to live for

I'm nervous also!! After Surgery it seems awful, I hear allot of people have different reactions.. I wish I can do this on my own..

I had my surgery on the 11th and I'm not gonna lie to ya...I'm 3 days post-op and in pain, BUT, I have pain medicine, I walk (helps with pain), and I am following my surgeons instructions. However, none of that is stopping me from whinning, I'm a pain wimp! It hurts but everytime I hurt I tell myself how worth it that this surgery is. Everyday the pain has gotten less, I just wish I could poop but that's another story!!! Please don't let my comments about pain or anyone else's make you change your mind about having this surgery because I promise you once you have it and are on the mend you are going to be so happy...especially when the pounds start coming off and staying off!!! :D

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
