Shoe size?

I have a question. Has anyone's shoe size gotten smaller with weight loss?

This thread makes me laugh! What great news--smaller feet on the way. I'll take that. Reminds me of Dolly Parton who once said,"well, I wear a size six, but the seven felt so good I bought an eight!

Yes!! I noticed this last night actually. I'm almost 5 weeks post op, and have been just wearing flip flops lately in this hot weather. Got dressed up in my heels, and my foot kept sliding out of my shoe. I had tried on 4 pairs, and all the same...loose. Although it was a bummer not to have shoes to match my outfit, I laughed so hard out of joy, I'm starting to see the changes in my body and despite the pain and struggle in the beginning, the sleeve is totally worth it. =)

Yes! I am down 1/2 size and those are getting loose.

I was very surprised at this.

I lost in shoe width and now I'm losing 1/2 a size, my 8 1/2 shoe keeps slippin off my feet......:P

Yay!! So happy for you!!! I just wanted to wait to make sure I didn't go out and buy new shoes and then have them be too small in a couple of months!!

always have been and probably always will be a 15 wide unfortunately

Almost six weeks out and all of my shoes are feeling loose.

Oh yes. All my shoes are too loose. My sandals slip around on my feet and the converse etc will go flying off if I kick my foot.

Me too, I went down a 1/2 size. Im actually back to my normal size 8, I had gone up as the pounds got put on. So there are lots of shoes in my closet that I can wear again. Joy :)

I noticed this too today when my ugly stepsister foot slipped easily into Cinderella's slipper!

Oh yes. It's another great benefit I hadn't even considered. I was a 10 wide that was usually too tight. Always flats and rubber soles, clogs, etc. I couldn't wear nice heels because they didn't fit and would have looked ridiculous on my large body. I had a blast today trying on tons of shoes in an 8.5 and 9! Pointy toes and stiletto heels! Who knew??

I'm a size 5-6 I think this is the area I don't wanna be smaller in hahah

I was an 11 extra wide. Now I'm a 10.5 wide. I'm hoping I will ditch the wide width shoes altogether.

Was a size 8 1/2 to 9 now I am a solid 8 and will probably go down another 1/2 size eventually. :)

I wish! I'm a 12, and I'm not losing any length so far :( I'd love to drop down to an 11...
