When I have a hard time reading a post due to "text talk", run on sentences with no punctuation, poor spelling, etc., I skip them. That's the ex-teacher in me, I guess! I don't even let my kids use text talk when texting. Ha!

smh means shaking my head I had to get hip when I join FB a few months ago lol meaning laugh out loud and at least u wasn't being funny

Thanks! I just hope this work ,don't won't to be put In the nursing home again.I'm only 34 with two Kids. My youngest Son has autism and imagine tht a bundle of energy.

I only learned the lingo because my kids are 13 and 15 and I wanted to know what their friends were saying on FB. (Yes, I make mine use proper English on FB and Instagram, too.)

To add to that, my mother started using text talk with no idea what she's saying, so I have to stop her antics!

you can really tell who has a active LIFE and don't really. well I'm having my surgery August 20 I pray everything go well I start my pre Op On the Six tht lap Band was a flop hopefully this will be better for me
