June sleevers, what are you eating?

Recommended Posts

Can you post your surgery date and the things you are eating? I know some of you are on full liquids for some time, but I'm wondering about the purees and soft stagers?

Sleeved june 27th ... went from Clear Liquids to full liquids yesterday. I am allowed to juice as long as there are no chunks. SF chocolate pudding (even though allowed) did not sit well. Thinned cream of wheat or oatmeal without fruit (I put it in my nutibullet with a lil unsweetened almond milk)... success!

Sleeved June 17th

Week 2 approaching week 3

Eating:

Cream of wheat

Oatmeal (when I can stand it, I hated it before this)

Bananas

Apple sauce

SF chocolate pudding

Diet V8 Splash

strawberry banana V8 fusion Light

Crab rangoon dip I made...crab is so thin you don't even know it is in there.

So far every phase I've tried has sat well with me, no nausea or anything!

I was sleeved June 19. I'm eating Soups, yogurts, hummus, tuna, canned chicken, eggs, avocado/guacamole. My fat ass had the tiniest bite of my husbands burger the other day.

Keep us updated when you all level up to new foods. Keep truckin!

I found the recipe on Pinterest. It's really easy and right now since I can't eat any crackers or anything like that yet, I eat a few spoonfuls of it. I can't wait until I can have some whole grain crackers or even melba toast to eat with it! It is SO good! Here is the link to the recipe for it:

Thanks for the recipe! I was wondering too :). I eat my hummus on a spoon, usually, although I've had it on pita bread- I ate VERY little of the bread and chewed it to death.

I'm gonna try that dip!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
