About Me

  • Gender
    Female
Seven years ago, I had gastric banding. Only was able to keep off 25 lbs. After much disappointment in myself and the band, I have decided to have the sleeve surgery. The band was either too tight (just liquids) or too loose (eat anything). I never felt real restriction/fullness, it always felt like I had food in my throat. I thought the band was the answer to my prayers - but it was not.

Ready to try again and I have high hopes for the sleeve surgery. My main concern is my health and age. I have sleep apnea, two very bad knees and spinal stenosis. Its been difficult to exercise and for the past year, I have not been exercising on a regular basis because my back hurts constantly. Am hoping the weight loss takes stress off my back and knees so I can begin to exercise and become healthier.

See my blog for updates.
