You what. . Said u weren't going to wear a bikini, my god girl u look great - u can wear it. If I get down to that weight/shape I WILL wear one, maybe with shorts cause I think I'll need to work on my self confidence well done

So I like the fact that I got into it but I definitely will not be wearing this in public until i tighten and tone more. The fact that my body is proportional lets me know when i get to my goal weight (which is 40 pounds away) I will look like someone's model!!! :D So glad my skin is snapping back and my arms arent saggy. I prayed for that when first getting the surgery.

You look awesome!!!! I can't believe you are 185....you look great!! Congrats!!

I'm 5'8 so I carry the weight pretty well. Back when I was preop, under clothes, you would've never believed my BMI to be so high. Thank goodness for long legs!

My gym routine is brutal but i take herbal life tea about 30mins before workout and im mad crazy in the gym:

Monday: 20 minutes on elliptical at 15 incline 10 intensity - 100 squats - 10 sets of 8 leg curls - 10 sets of 8 calve raises - 50 hyperextensions - ab ripper x p90x routine - 30 minutes on treadmill 10 incline at 4mph

Tuesday: Cardio day - 30 minutes on elliptical at 15 incline 10 intensity - 30 minutes on treadmill 10 incline at 4mph - 30 mintues stairmaster

Wednesday: 20 minutes on elliptical at 15 incline 10 intensity - 10 sets of 10 bicep curls - 10 sets of 10 tricep kickbacks - 100 squats - 50 hyperextensions - ab ripper x p90x routine - 30 minutes on treadmill 10 incline at 4mph

Thursday: Cardio day - 30 minutes on elliptical at 15 incline 10 intensity - 30 minutes on treadmill 10 incline at 4mph - 30 mintues stairmaster

Friday: rest day usually go roller skating or ride my bike at Manhattan Beach

Saturday: run the culver city stairs - 3 times up 3 times running full speed down - ab ripper x p90x routine

Sunday: run the culver city stairs - 3 times up 3 times running full speed down - ab ripper x p90x routine

I do see my strength progressing as i am comfortable able to add 5 to 10 pounds to my sets every two weeks however every day my muscles are sore and the collagen with my Protein shakes i feel really help recovery time. I've gotten very comfortable with this routine as i go at my own pace and focus more on form than reps etc. i wouldnt recommend it until you are comfortable and get clearance. i also recommend trying different things out. I used a personal trainer for about 4 weeks just to show me the ropes' date=' work on form, and put together a routine. Once I had that foundation, i've just been doing it on my own.[/quote']

Omg super intense, your hard work has certainly paid off.

If anyone is wondering what the stairs that princessita is talking about here is a picture. I pass by there hundreds of times and never dared to go smh. I guess I have to do it if I want to get toned.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
