My biggest issue is having a MX only sections doesn't help US researchers. I was extremely limited in info when doing research on US surgeons.

Again, should be SURGEONS/LOCATIONS :D

Or I should say WORLDWIDE SURGEONS/LOCATION since there's so many Aussies, NZ, India, Canadian patients. I guess just more organization is the key. Laura, get your whip out and mov'em ;)

Aw forget the Aussies they just cause problems anyway! :P

I think self pay is important in the title because I was just looking over the existing surgeon section and it pretty much talking about insurance, doctors and hospitals...

Wait a minute. This is all just a conversation and nothing else. This is just all suggestions going on for Alex to note. This isn't between any two or three people.. That's what the whole thread is about.

Good thought! Self pay are the biggest researchers. Although price isn't always a concern it should be included

Not really problems. We just like to stir the pot occasionally. Hey Laura, had a good cheeseburger lately?

Fasting? As in' date=' no food at all?[/quote']

No just 500 calories at 12 hours apart.. It's a two day a week thing I said I would try with some of the other girls :)

Wouldn't it be better to have 100 calories every 2 hours so that your metabolism doesn't go into shock. Still the same amount of calories but you will burn them faster.

Girl probably! I think that's what some of them are doing so I need to figure it out. they are following the 5:2 fasting diet, but I think they might be modifying it for our sleeves. So I just asked.

Sorry Alex way off topic :D

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
