4 days post op and drinking way to much

I am 4 days post op and am so confused on what to "eat". I have been drinking ensure protein drinks, that are a meal replacement, not just protein. I am not having any issues with drinking. I actually just drank a whole 14 oz bottle and as I was reading through my literature I am only supposed to drink 2 oz. Even if I drink 2 oz, 6 times per day, I will only get about 20 grams of protein in. I have not been full yet on anything and am drinking about 80 oz of water per day. Any advise would be appreciated.

Have you double checked which ensure you are supposed to have? We were told Ensure HIGH protein with 210 cal, 23 protein, 25 carbs 400 calcium. There are so many Ensures, it's easy to get them confused. :)

I am drinking 12 oz of Protein shakes at 11 days post op. my Dr said no ensure!!! You need a low cal, low carb, low sugar protein that has about 20 grams of protein. I drink pure protein (Walmart )

23 Grams protein and sunkist liquid Protein that has 25 G protein
