to all my fellow stallers at 3weeks +' date=' I think we need to start our own sub support group  what shall we call ourselves? the "stallers" sounds too much like "stalkers"...maybe we could call ourselves the IMPS (for "impatient losers")...I guess I am just trying to be light-hearted and find humor to deflect my continued frustration...I was telling leantoit in a personal message that I was thrilled when I got on the scale this morning and saw a one pound drop...now you know it's pathetic when you've stalled so long that even a one-pound loss thrills you...but, I am perfectly aware that the assumed well fought for pound might return once again tomorrow morning  and I know I shouldn't be weighing every day but I just can't help it now...let's just all hang in there together and support each other...oh, and I sincerely am happy for my fellow May sleevers who are experiencing quicker losing :)[/quote']

Seven weeks out now. I have been stalled over four weeks..lost 12 pounds TOTAL post-surgery. I am beyond stressed and depressed. I had been reading posts now have stopped because I know I'm doing everything I'm supposed to and still..nothing. Hopefully this so called stall will end and the surgery wasn't all for nothing :-(

that is a long stall, so I am wondering if something is going on...getting Proteins in? hydration? some walking? have you talked with your NUT about what you've been eating and what he/she could advise? Hang in there

It was good to read I'm not the only one frustrated with how slow I am losing.

Pre surgery diet started 266.5

Day of surgery 257.5

June 18 242 and havent budged since.

I had two periods of no loss for 5 days so today I expected a loss but nope.

I hit the 50 pound mark on Wednesday, I am so excited but I know that I still have a long way to go. I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel yet but at least I've started the journey.

I went from 600 -800 up to around 1000. I added a whey Protein shot which is 180 cal and a muscle milk which is 170. That protein shot has 42 gms.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
