My doctors plan is very restrictive and I am not about to go against his plan when I have come so far and done so well. I am glad that you are able to eat what you want in moderation, but please don't judge me for following what my doctor said to do.

I think you are SMART, I did NOTHING that I wasn't suppose to do....other than drink from a straw. After I reached goal, I slowly but surely got to my new normal, but until then, I followed the straight and narrow. My nurse said I was "rigid" and she followed that up with "and it working". I was allowed sugar free jello from the start, and he was pretty strict. Follow YOUR doctor's plan though and keep in mind, always err on the side of caution, you can't go wrong!

Who judged you??? This is why I don't post much here. Way to many sensitive people that cry and whine whenever someone says anything. good luck with your journey....

I'm not crying or whining...just your comment to loosen up a bit because I will have better results in the long run. Loosening up a bit got me in this position. Good luck in your journey as well.

Why doesn't your doctor allow Jello? I haven't had surgery yet so I don't know. Is it bc it doesn't have protein?

He does allow it now but not in the beginning. I have been eating it the past week as a liquid.
