new way to think about getting in protein

I have a childhood friend who I haven't see in many years. I recently learned that she is a nutritionist for a bariatric practice. We have been communicating through facebook. Her last message was checking on me to see if I was getting in my Protein and how difficult it can be. Here is what she said.

"If you do the math, at 2oz every 15 minutes, you need to drink for at least 8 hours a day! That's full time work!" (she was talking about me specifically only being a week post-op.)

It is full time work!!! It takes a lot of diligence to get that protein in when you can barely sip. So, if you've been able to do it regularly, give yourself a pat on the back!

Thank you for sharing that. For me I was so overwhelmed at that stage...... I am sure that folks could use that encouragement!
