Went to a baseball game last night. I'm 9 weeks out and had my first ballpark hot dog ( no bun) ;) and handful of peanuts! It felt good to feel normal again and not have to take my Protein Shakes to the game. Thus far down 67 lbs,no issues.

Side note; this delicacy will not be a regular part of my diet but we do have to enjoy the pleasures of life in measured proportions.

Currently now exercising 30-60 min six days a week. Taking in around 1000 cals/ 80+ grams Protein a day. No carb counting. Losing approx. 3 lbs a week.

Having an issue! Mine was 4/17. I'm down 42 however, I'm slipping into my old ways. I ate a candy bar and I just prayed that it would make me sick. But it didn't..... it was yummy. And now I'm scared that I will eat one every day. My Protein is low due to Protein Shakes make me throw up. Of course the good for you stuff I can't handle but any thing that is bad my tummy can handle. I'm loosing hope at the moment. I know what I need to do but afraid the little devil on my shoulder is going to win. That tricky little f***er! I do use my fitness pal but I only have 1 friend on there and it's my mother in law! And she loves to feed people. God help me.. I'm a mess.

I was sleeved on the 22nd of April and have lost 21 pounds. I'm having trouble with my large incision. It continues to break open spilling blood and infection. So I can't walk on my treadmill yet. My surgeon had to reopen it and clean it out today. No shower for 3 days and no walking for 3 weeks. Hell with no meds!

I am 3 wks out and have 2 open draining wounds about 2 inches deep that i have to pack twice a day with guage. Its super frusterating cuz i cant do any exercise or move my upper body much so i know how you feel.

Surgery 4/12, 245 lbs

Today, 213 lbs

32 lbs in 8 weeks

I'm very happy with my progress but every once in a while I find myself munching on Doritos or some other junk food. The good news it's not half the bag like it used to be, just a serving! So I log it into MFP and move on.

April 29th down 19.4 since 3 days before surgery (7 weeks today). Sooo I'm a normal to slow loser.... About 2 1/2 or so pounds a week overall. Little frustrated, I keep doing the lose, gain, platau, gain, lose dance. Oh well I know it, its just driving me crazy.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
