I've updated "The List"...please let me know (in that thread) if I missed you or you had a date change.

http://www.verticals...evers-the-list/

Tomorrow OUR month begins!!! Whoohoo!!!

My Dr. called and asked if I would be willing to switch my date to Thursday instead of Wednesday...so now I am June 6th. One more day of the liquid diet :/ but that's ok :)

Tomorrow, June 3 is the big day. Very anxious!

My bag is packed and I'm in the gym getting my last hard workout in before I have to take it slow for awhile.

Wow! I am so happy for everyone! I can't decide though if the 25th will come fast or slow. May was an incredibly long month for me. Good news is I have a bunch of sleeve siblings to cheer on while I wait ;)

Junes sleevers please do not stress! Especially about the weight.ive seen ppl on here say their 160 n they look 125 pounds..just remember.its not what the scale says tht matters.its the inches u lose tht matters..If u can weigh 190 pounds n look like u weigh 125 to 130 pounds then thts great..also remember if u continue to follow instructions u should do great.dr cant tell u how much ur gonna lose cause he dnt honestly knw.he just guestimating lol as id call it..but as u are losing weight n working out u are also gaining muscle..everything is gonna be fine..u just gotta trust n believe in yourself

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
