I've just joined this Forum - I've been a member of the gastricband forum as I'm getting my band fitted in Belgium in January ...

From what I've read, if you follow all of the instructions the doctors give you, you will do well. I think you open yourself up to complications if you veer off of the prescribed diet or if you don't follow their directions about your activity level after surgery.

Determination is the key!
