I live in Elkhart! However my insurance doesn't cover Goshen so I have to go to Ft Wayne. Small price to pay for my life back. I've been to 2 seminars at Goshen though. They seem very nice and know what they are doing. Good luck!

I'm having trouble finding a doctor that doesn't take 3-6 months. I have anthem insuance and meet all the requirements. I went to a seminar in Goshen and received a call and they would like for me to do 6 months there before they will decide because my BMI is 40.1. Who is your doctor? I'm from Warsaw area so Ft Wayne, Elkhart, and Goshen are not to far.

My insurance requires 6 months of visits with my doctor before I can be approved. My surgeon will be Dr. Dale Sloan. I know he requires 6 weeks of classes before and after surgery but I don't think 6 months of anything.

I have anthem as well and I'm required to do the 6 months. This is the final month....they will submit this week!!! I love Team Bariatrics....very easy to work with.

I just checked with my insurance specialist at work and my amthem plan doesn't require a wait. Team Bariatric requires a 3 month process, I'm starting mine Aug. 7th! I can't wait:) Which doctor do you see there?

On a regular basis you will see Kathy the nurse practitioner. My surgeon will be Dr Gerig.
