nine months out and acid

Acid has been boiling up into my lower throat in the past week when being eliminated by daily Prilosec for so long. In fact, today I have take 3 Prilosec through the day today and it is still feeling like my throat is burning. Have any of you seen acid come back after month 9 or so (could be earlier or later)? It is not bad yet, but annoying as it makes me want to pop tums like candy.

Are you eating greasy foods?

No, no greasy foods. Food like chicken sausage, protein shake and brocolli today. I did have some "Thai hot" Thai dish on Saturday that was so hot I could not taste any flavor. I probably would not do that again as I like to taste my food. :)

I'm 4 months out and I'm just beginning to have a slight problem. Nothing bad, but noticable and I'm wondering if it's going to get worse.

Oh.. And tums are my new bbf. So far those work.

I hope it gets better as I have been popping PPI daily since surgery without missing a day. It would be good to not need it any longer, but now I am having doubts because of the issues.

LOL... That's supposed to be BFF .. Not sure what my auto correct was trying to make it

No worries, I read it correctly even with the typo. :)
