Newly banded and looking for new friends!

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to introduce myself. I was banded on 11/14 and feeling good. Looking forward to first fill next week. Is that soon?

    Hi There. Welcome to the lapband forum. I remember getting my first fill. I was up a few lbs so it was perfect timing. As a cautionary measure, make sure your doctor uses a numbing agent before he inserts the needle. Some do but some don't unless you ask. I hear it can be quite painful particularly if they have to stick you more than once to find the port. Hang in there, you are doing great.
