Hi, I'm looking for a good source to obtain free or low price sample packets of protein shakes without having to order shakes from individual vendors. Also, any suggestions on great liquid meals, I.e. soups, shakes, baby food (the stage when you go home and the two weeks after). I feel like I'm losing my mind now that the surgery is around the corner. Aaaahhh!

I am glad you asked that question because I just about to post the exact same question. I have my surgery on the 30th of April and I am trying to prepare myself. When I was looking for protein shakes I found out that Walmart Sams club and Costco will refund you your money if you don't like it, by the way Costco has the best price 6lbs for $45

Also I found out that you local vitamin shops as well as GNC will let you try out the protein in the store b4 you purchase it that way if you don't like it well you just don't purchase it

I have a blender bottle which helps mix things well but I still get tons of foam

So far I've tried only the isopure ready to drink bottled from gnc - it was yucky & had a odd flavor. Had to choke it down.

I tried the roadside lemonade from syntrax nectars & it was good, no odd flavors, just a gentle lemonade flavor quite nice.

Thank you. I ordered the injury Sample pack yesterday. I also went to GNC, grabbed a sample of the Whey cookies and cream.

Won't taste the same after surgery

Everything tastes the same after surgery to me...protein shakes of any kind are just harder to get down.

I ordered a bunch of sample packets from www.nashuanutrition.com and I am so glad I did - for variety's sake alone! The sample packets are $1.95 per and quite a selection. Some weren't as tasty as I'd hope they would be but still worth checking out!
