Started at a high of 372; down to 353 on surgery day. Had surgery 8-20-12 and I am now 236. Weight loss was several pounds per week in the early months, now 1-2 per week. Good luck

Went to the doc's on the 6th and was at 213 feeling great hope you all are doing well.

Wow! You all are doing so well! I know women lose weight slower than men..but I hope ill have really good numbers! Started my clear liquid diet yesterday. ..so not fun! Day 2 of 14 and then surgery time! My fear is not being able to get in all the water, protein, and vitamins post op!

The first few days were hard for me too, I have a feeling you are going to do great with it. Just remember the end goal. I will keep you updated on how things are going.

I hope you are feeling better!

Hello! I'm 6'8" 330. My high was 410 in 12/12. Lost eighty pounds on diet and dialysis. Hoping to lose another 100 to help with my kidneys.

Six months post op and I'm down 118 lbs,but the trouble is I still get sick to my stomach after every meal which lasts for about an 40to 60 minutes driving me a little nuts, but maybe I'm just being impatient. Dr says could last for up to a year or so. Any feedback or thoughts?

I find that when I eat to much I get stomach sick I was told by my doc 1/2 to 3/4 cup of food till about a year maxing out at 1 cup the most and protien first snack on some raw carrots broccoli or apples. Good luck down from my heaviest 150lbs
