Celebrating the 1st of Many Victories...

Recommended Posts

I had my surgery 3/18. I am still refusing to weigh myself until my PCP appointment on Monday 4/1.

But I'm happy to report that when I put my jeans on this morning, the same jeans that a few days b4 surgery were uncomfortably tight, fit me just right. Not tight. Not baggy. Just right.

I am avoiding the scale too...we do not have a very good relationship. Only weighing in once a month to start. NSVs are going to the most fullfilling ones for me!! I have a whole closet full of smaller clothes just waiting for me to wear them again!

I have several pair of nice jeans a few sizes down that I'm looking forward to slipping into and rocking.

Amanda

since you didn't say differently, i'm "assuming" all went well will surgery, and recovery is going well

2 weeks PO - thats great

tight jeans, now fitting perfectly so quickly - terrific :)

there is a "magnet" in my scale, that keeps drawing me to "it"

staying away from the scale - patient in finding out what your new weight will be??? :o

IMO thats an NSV in itself!!!!

keep up the terrific job

congrats :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
