Just got a call from my surgeon office...... I'M APPROVED!!!!! was sure it was gonna be a struggle, and was ready to be disappointed. I laughed like a loon when she told me they approved it....

I am glad you read the complications threads. It is important to know what could happen and what signs to look for after your surgery. Please remember complications is only about 5% as fiddleman said. Congratulations on your approval. This is the BEST thing I ever did for myself and family.

Congrats!!! I hope to be getting that "approval" call here in the next couple of days. My doctors office submitted to my insurance yesterday.. WLS is a covered benefit under my plan but it still does require prior authorization... I am so nervous!!!
