Never read the complications thread! lol.. Bad enough that I'm a nurse and know to much already! lol

Thank for all the support.... Have a feeling I'm gonna need it. One minute I'm so exited and the next I'm like holy s&@t what am i doing!

It means my surgeon got the approval from the insurance company.... My grandma always said there is no such thing as a stupid question.. If you don't ask you don't find out the answer...

Just got a call from my surgeon office...... I'M APPROVED!!!!! was sure it was gonna be a struggle, and was ready to be disappointed. I laughed like a loon when she told me they approved it....

More risk for blood clots, and other complications because you don't heal as well or as quickly as a non smoker

I'm penciled in for April 22nd, two days before my birthday. Just waiting for the final word from insurance.. Finished my 6 month insurance requirement this week. Scared!

It if better if they are painted a lighter color... Easier for the finger monitor you will probably have on to pick up your pulse and oxygen level

I have my surgery penciled in for April 22 ( 2 days before my birthday).. Just because i have to do my work schedule 2 months in advance. Have talked in depth with my dietician and she sees no reason for me not to be approved... But final say is up to insurance.. Figured a month would give me plenty of time if i have to appeal or supply more paperwork.
