On the plane to San Diego!

Although I considered punking out several times, I actually made it on the plane! I'm so ready to get to the losers bench. My surgery is later today with Dr. Garcia at Mi Doctor.

It's 12 hours 8 ( And we won't be able to sleep cause we will want to walk every hour! .... Wow he must be a great coach! She's a Nz icon ...

Oh my goodness. That is a long flight! Walking every hour might help break it up some!

Yes, he is pretty awesome. He worked for what he called "The Academy", which from what I understand was an Olympic training facility. He was a sports scientist, and tested athletes on their strength and conditioning. He lived here in the states and worked at a university here for a while, but he is native NZ. Valerie really liked him from working with him at The Academy and when she replaced her old coach a few years back, she brought him on as part of her team. I think she has 3 coaches all together, and he still works at The Academy some, too. The best part...is that he is 5'4" and Valerie is like 6'4". He has several pictures of them working out on Facebook, and a few publicity shots...and the difference between their size is amazing. :)
