Going back to work soon wondering what you are bringing to work for lunch? Also odd question is anyone having bathroom issues?

I'm a teacher too! Assuming you are with the name.

My plan is to take yogurt and stock my mini fridge for the week, 2.6 oz tuna packages, stick cheese and lunch meat to make wraps. I'm going to try and drink a 20 oz Isopure throughout the day for 40 g or Protein. 36 bottles for $75 online. That will last 6 weeks of school.

I love it! I use it and nectar. To me it takes like strong kool-aide. Go to a GNC or Vitamin shop and buy one mixed bottle. $4...see what you think. I've had the Isopure mango peach and fruit punch and enjoy both.

nectar - strawberry, lemonade, (I mix those sometimes to change it up) peach tea is good too!

Yes, I drink it straight. The bottled ones are premixed. You can purchase it in powder too. I like the thought of having a big bottle for school and knowing that if I get it down at school it's 40 g of Protein down. That way when I get home I can relax and enjoy dinner and have to drink anymore Protein.< /p>

I know the feeling i did the same thing, but IVe decided i cant not help à client on a recovery wing, its my nature. So i told the job i came back to soon and gave notice. I work parttime and its to much. My health comes first. I start à classes again in august and will décide if i sit the summer out as well. If i cant get Fluid and Protein in while on a job, it might be the same on campus, and i refuse to let anything stop my progress or success...a big décision, but had to be done...

HI. I am now 6 weeks 4 days out from my sleeve. NOW, I feel like this is a strange question so soon after surgery. but I am just now able to eat ALMOST normal. And I feel like I am eating too much and am kind of scared. I get a little owey if I get a bite or two too much, but never feel sick or anything. My surgeon told me yesterday that I can have as much as 900 calories, and I think I am a bit under that. But still feel worried. Is any June sleevers experiencing that?

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
