Hi everyone' date='

I'm an April sleever but worried about doing stairs when I get home. We have a lot of them so I thought I'd ask, are you guys able to get up and down stairs ok? Stairs were TOUGH after my c section. I know this is totally different though. I wish you all the best, quick healing, excellent results and minimum pain!![/quote']

I had no problems with my stairs. Keep a straight back and torso and use your legs. Go as slow as you need to!

I've had a 16 oz bottle of Water and half a premier today. Feeling better as far as hydration. My goal is to finish the premier and drink another bottle of water before 1 am.

After both my c-sections, stairs were tough. This has not. Was sleeved last Wednesday and climbed the stairs Friday night. Not as issue at all. Just took it slow. Beginning to think there IS something about Protein and healing! :o

I'm almost 30 years past my last c-section and healing faster and way less pain.

Mag! We can all relate, I'm sure. But you know what I remember? I remember how many times I built myself up: I'm gonna eat right, excersise, lose weight. And for the first week or maybe two I do. But then the results aren't fast enough or I pms and just quit. I say " the world may end tomorrow, I'm gonna have a brownie". This surgery is that crutch I need to lean on when I start thinking the world may end before I can have another brownie. We can do this! I have thought your same thoughts. I have apologized to my husband and family that it has come to such an extreme that now I need them to take care of me because I couldn't do it. Ya know what my dad said? He said just like any addiction, people need help. The surgery is there for a reason, because it is sometime necessary. You've had the surgery you can't reverse it. Just think about how this time next year our asses will be the hottest sexiest things around. And we have that "fat girl" personality, which is undeniably the best kind to have! I'm here for you girl! We can make it through this stupid decision together!!

I have had those thought and moments of tears...i am in my second week and the scale is just starting to move and it is at a snails pace. I am eating cream Soups now which really helped with my head hunger. But I think this will be emotional for awhile, highs if losing, lows learning to live sleeved... That's why I come here to check in and to see I am not alone

I have also felt that way. I got out of surgery on the 6th and felt absolutely horrible and starting feeling so much regret.. What had I done to my body? I am still healing and have my moments but I know I did the right thing. It was the only option to save my life. Hope you feel better. :D

I am having one of those days too. I feel fine physically, not much I am unable to do. Doing great on my Proteins and liquids. I don't know, maybe I'm hungry but i'm on liquids for 3 weeks so not even entertaining the idea of food, doesn't even sound good so that's not it. I think it just might be all hitting me emotionally, having a pity party for one, for sure! Hubby travels each week so good thing he had to leave this afternoon. He was home with me last week. He has been my rock and biggest supporter but I'm ready to get back to normal, but the tears keep coming so I think the best thing for me is changing into my jammies, having some herbal tea and watching some mindless tv. Will have to wait till tonight to see who Sean sends chooses. Nothing like some good 'ole girlie TV to get over an emotional spell.

Hope we both feel better tomorrow! Hang in there!

Magpie30- I be feeling the same way I had my surgery March 6th and I hate the gas pains and not being able to eat nothing. I felt like crying today and yesterday. I wish I can get rid of this gas pain. It seems like everything I eat gives me gas now.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
