So had my first follow-up from surgery. had some crazy unexpected results: they found a stromal tumor in my stomach they cut out. They obviously got it all out but still want me to go to Roswell for further testing just to make sure. I may have inadvertently saved my own life by doing this, holy ****!

I have to get an endoscopy every 6 months to observe the growth. The catscan showed it to be the only tumor so far. Praying they just scrape and maintain it and that it does not become an issue. I can't get the area removed because its actually duodenum. Which means if they remove it they would have to do a Whipple procedure and remove part of my pancreas making me a diabetic . But all is well. I feel so blessed to have found it and just plan to rise above and kick cancers ass!!
