  4. thanks u have now validated for me that I need to choose the right foods. I have been eating very small portions prob 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup portions 3 times daily. but I can tolerate some bread, crackers, and carbs that arent good ones. i tend to go for them instead of healthier choices. but now I am set on eating only foods that are the most nutritious for me. thank you! your right, its about changing what up in ur head as well that makes the difference!
  5. wow! amazing u look so good! its encouraging for me....Ive hit a low spot..Im down 20 pounds since my gastric sleeve surgery nov 30 2012. but it wont go past that!!! I need to do something more I guess lol. But thank you so much fro posting this, it really helped me
  6. also be careful when adding meat. its harder to digest so chew well and take it SLOW!! I found this out the hard way when I tried chicken. it got stuck half way down. I stay away from most meats except lean ground meats that go down easier but I still have very small amounts of them. I was soo excited that i diddnt take my time and I suffered for it lol. hope this helps
  7. I had the EXACT same problem. I regretted the surgery at that stage because I was so sick of soup and soft foods. Im now at 4 weeks out and I eat small amounts of things like egg salad on crackers, sweet potato, rice, canned ham salad on crackers, boiled soft veggies, and even chili. I just chew very well. also it was allot of trial and error testing out what I can tolerate. once I found out I stuck to the foods that make me feel the best. really not what doc says to do, but Im still losing 1-2 pounds per day, and feeling great. dont worry just try bites of things and if they feel good going down then go for it. just chew well and take it slow between bites.
  8. @helgaready ur welcome were all in this "together" or as much as we can be. it so nice to be able to relate so closely to another person.

  11. this is exactly what ive been worried about happening to me..ive been i guess hiding behind my weight for so long that Im scared of being skinny because of the confidence side of it. its just as much a mind transformation as a body transformation. keep it up, u look amazing and the confidence will come as u see yourself as the beautiful woman everyone else sees you as.

  14. aww girl I feel for you just remember the end result....how good you will look and feel. Ive found that keeping myself physically busy (cleaning, laundry, walks, organizing, painting, ect) helps kkep my mind off food and my hunger, also hot water with lemon cures hunger pains. hope it gets better for you
