Other new sleevers are always surprised when I tell them that I had absolutely NO NAUSEA post-op. I think it's because my surgeon uses two medications pre-op. I am not recommending or providing medical advice, but if your surgeon offers these to you, they are worth the extra cost:

• Emend (1 dose lasts a week - usually used to treat nausea with chemo patients)
  
• Trans-Derm Scop patch (Something you usually see people on cruise ships wearing)
  

I attribute this combination to providing me with a much easier recovery than some of my counterparts!

My surgeon does the scop pay h behind the ear. I have to put it on the night before surgery.
