Now that i can have food i dont want it

I've been dreaming of scrambled eggs and refried beans for the past week. Now that the day has arrived I could care less about them. Crazy what the brain does to us.

I feel the same way. I am 6 weeks post-op and I really don't search for all the different foods I am allowed to eat now. I stick to greek yogurt---oatmeal---and cottage cheese--my protein shakes--and eggs. I think i am a tiny bit afraid to eat to be honest. But I see the weight coming down almost daily. :)

I am there with you. I am so excited about food and it smells really good but I don't want any. I get to have purees at the end of this week and I bought a bunch of groceries even though I know much of it may not get used! The brain really is weird.

I had that as well. I was craving a particular kind of hamburger when I was on the pre-surgery diet. After surgery, I don't have any cravings. Except one spontaneous craving was flung on me when I passed a banana. I had to have that banana!!!!
