I like Mio and I also drink Tazo Passion fruit Herbal tea and their Wild orange tea is great too. Both of them are good hot and iced.

Yup. Not only does it taste good, it is sweetened with stevia, so no artificial sweeteners :)

Thanks everyone I have been trying different things preparing for my surgery on Wed. Feb. 27th.. So since you all are so awesome here is another question. I used Injury Protein today and added some strawberry lite yogart and a few strawberries. Can we add things like that to the protein and of couse I did soy milk. : )

I loved warm Rachael Ray Beef Stock and Chinese Egg Drop Soup with the egg strained out of it until I was able to be on full liquids, then I also had the egg. I also found Irish Cream Hot Cocoa on the Bariatric Choice website.

I drink a TON of tea. I go through those boxes of 100 tea bags in a matter of 2 months - those last a lot of people an entire year.

I basically brew about 12 cups at a time using 2 bags in a clean coffee pot and then pour that into a pitcher and chill it in the fridge. When I am ready for some I put one packet of sweet and low in a glass and a few squirts of lime juice and then fill the cup up the rest of the way with the tea. I drink that almost nonstop.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
