  7. I have also experienced this also. I am 8 weeks and haven't had anything that I can say tasted good . I also grilled a lean hamburger patty last week and looked so forward to it but it was also just bland. I wonder why this happens.
  8. Awesome going to have to try that.
  9. Just wondering why are you told not to eat ice cream?
  10. Yes I am experiencing the same issue. As you said I have tried several things and nothing taste as it did before. My husband laughed today and said the doctor must have done something. I thought I was the only one so glad to hear you also are having the same issues. I was sleeved February 27. Looking forward to hearing someone has an answer for us.

  13. So glad that you stuck to your guns. We know how own bodies better than anyone. I have two swollen areas on my left arm where my IV was and I had surgery on Feb 27. Went to family doctor and she did an ultrasound and found blood clots. Going to have to give myself 2 injections of Lovenox a day. They also gave me Cumiden. Just shows we are all so different you just never know but I was also glad I went to the doctor.
  14. So sorry to hear that Fred has passed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during a very difficult time. Also, to you NikkiV1986.
  15. Dear February Sleevers: I am 2 weeks out from surgery and everything tastes so sweet. I am still on liquids for 4 more days. I eat Chobani yogart to help with Protein amount then Injury chocolate for another 30 grams of protein. Suppose to get in 70 grams but still only able to get in 60 grams a day. Have tried cream Soups to get away from the sweet but they don't taste good. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I think they may have also done something with my taster while in surgery.....lololololol

  22. Very well said moregoodtimes. And by the way Karen353 some has to do with age and some is your own tolerance to the surgery. I am 57 and truthfully therevwill be a couple of kind of rough days but I thinkmwe all knew that going into this. Good luck on this new adventure we have all begin in our lives.

  24. They gave me Zofran. I am not recommending it I just know I had a terrible reaction to either the amount of Loratab or the kind of Loratab and I was very nauseous. Good luck because that is such an awful feeling when you have this surgery.
