Texarkana Bandsters

OH NO!!!!! Not the pesky 5 pound syndrome! I hate that, Shannon. Sorry you have it too. Boo!!!!

I don't know why you can't do weight watchers. It's designed for you to lose weight. I don't know how big the portions are, but you just have to remember to get the Protein first. Maybe, we need to ask

Dr. H or Dr. K and see what they say. Just gotta remember--- Portion Control.

I have the three mile walk and I like it alot. It came with a set of bands that will really make a workout for ya! I haven't done it lately, cause I have had other things to do, but there will come a day when I will need it. Maybe, I need to get up in the middle of the night and do it just to keep my metabolism going. lol Yeah, right! lol

Glo....want me to come be your accompliss? (did I spell that right?) I can stir things up for ya. lol I know I won't be able to even get in the same league as Lou, but I can be of some help. LOL Any time you need someone to help you, I'm here, just ask. lol

Well, I just had lunch....... about 4 bites of chicken salad. Now, I feel stuck.

My workout for the day..... washed and waxed the car. Wax on....wax off. Now, I need something for the legs. Guess I will walk this afternoon or play ball with T.

Yall have a great rest of the day. Talk to yall later!

I have heard of several people joing WW with the band. You just have to down size on some of the portions. Which is okay. Just keep a watch on your Protein. I haven't done it personally but have talked with a few that have. My pcp does WW.

Lo2us, good luck Sat. What all will you have to do Sat?

Oh, I am changing my isp after today. Finally getting away from "dial-up! I live out in the country, and my options are limited.

We leave tomorrow evening for vacation, if I have computer access I will touch base with ya'll.

have fun sugarbear! Dont forget about my challenge to you. Looks like most all of us are trying to get that 75 pound pin. I decided to eat something.. for Breakfast and then make sure i am really hungry before i eat a meal. AND stay in that box. LOL. No sweets. Lisa.. I didnt realize how bad i had gotten addicted to sweets and mushies like chips and mashed potatoes being too tight. Here's to a new week coming up and losing...

yall dont laugh at me... i got a small little fill today. I have been starving and i now can tell when i get stuck and it swells... A little different than being TOO TIGHT ( I guess) What a learning journey this is....I am gonna be very very careful again with my eating. I feel like i am on a roller coaster. I am pretending i am new at this again. I am also sticking to liquids longer before i try the mushies. Look out, I am after that 75 pound pin !!!!

I WILL NOT GIVE UP ! lol. i AM in the box and plan to stay inside.

Good for you Teresa. Hang in there. That pin will be yours before you know it. As for me.......I don't think I'm EVER gonna get there. lol

Welcome, Peri! Good luck with your surgery. If you have any questions...... you are in the right place for an answer. Ask us, someone will answer.

Susan.... how in the world did you get a Rep power of 10??? Girl, you must be a gurooooo for that kind of rep. lol I checked my mail and will try to take care of that little errand today, k?

I didn't make my appointment yesterday. I had to change it to the 19th. I'm either not as tight as I thougt I was OR I have learned to eat slower and smaller bites. Isn't that funny..... I have had my band for 18 months, May 29th, and just learning to eat smaller bites? Live and learn I guess. Still haven't lost anything, but at least I can eat a little more.

Yall stay in the box today..... drink your Water.< /p>

Catch ya later!

Thanks, Teresa. It's a mighty big behind to push. lol Or maybe, you have a BIG job AHEAD of you. lol I'll think of some more puns later. But, I think those two are good for now. lol

Shannon, click on the scales under each person's name you wish to look at or add too. Remember the last time we had the rep thing come up?

Yall have a good day. I'll be here bitin my fingernails off. My house is supposed to be out of production today or first thing in the morning. We have a tenative delivery date of Tuesday, so I'm getting really nervous. AND it's supposed to rain today. Might push the delivery date back, plus if it's raining, I have to stay inside and that's not good either. Yall..... I am going to fall apart before this house gets here. I think I will go have some Water. lol

Yall stay in the box today! You too Susan!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
