I have cramping in my port area also. I've heard alot of people with the band say that though. Mine is sensitive to the touch on sometimes but not always.

I bet it's the twins and your age. I'm 34 and it seems like this pregnancy is harder! But i don't feel like it's because of the band at all.

1 is alot of work. It will probably seem like a ton of work to me since i've already had 1 daughter. But I've always heard it's better to have twins first because you don't know any difference! If she has any more later it will seem like a breeze! I was totally scared and overwhelmed at first and it took a while for it to all sink in. Now when people say "better you than me" I always say "i think so!" I now feel so blessed and amazed that God trusts me with his 2 little girls!

My twins are fraternal. They are dizygotic. For those of you who don't know that means they have their own sac, own placenta and own umbilical cord. they are just sisters who happen to share the same oven!

Wow! That's so cool. Twins are in the air! I haven't posted in a while but hope all is going well with all of you! We just found out we are having 2 girls!!!! I guess we won't be getting that boy my husband wanted but we're just as excited about the girls!!!

Lol! That's so funny! I'll be interested to see how our pregnancies are alike or different. I just got back from my ob today and all was well. It was still too early to tell their sexes but we'll try again in 2 weeks! they were very active today.

Newme, I just noticed we were banded on the same day too!

I am due Dec. 19th with Twins! I was banded may of 08. Lost 70 lbs. and now have gained 10. I know I have to gain especially with twins but it's still scary. My ob says i should gain up to 50 my lapband dr. says only up to 35! That really confuses me! I have to see a specialist because i'm considered high risk because its twins and i'll be 35 when I deliver and I had toxemia with my dd. I had a subchorionic hemmorage early on and my docs want me to take it easy so I can't excercise. Don't know that I could if they said i could because I get so out of breath already and I'm only 16 weeks! good luck to everyone!

Hi Newme! Congratulations! I know exactly how you feel! I am almost 16 weeks pregnant with TWINS!!!! Never in my life did I think i'd be having twins. I was banded may of 08 and found out may 0f 09 that i was pregnant. Just this last week i started feeling a little discomfort at my port site. It's nothing bad but just a little uncomfortable like a mild burning. But it's usually short lived. I hope it doesn't get worse. I am concerned about how big my belly is going to get with twins and how the port is going to do. I've had 2 port revisions so i'm a little nervous about it. Let's keep in touch!

That regimen didn't work for me. I tried about 3 times. Then I got banded, lost 70 lbs. and now i'm pregnant with twins!~

Oh Boy! Or Girl! or Both! I just found out Wed. that we are having TWINS!!!! I'm so excited! Well, i am now, at first i was shocked and scared to death! The Dr. is pretty sure that are not identical which they say is better because they have a higher rate of survival. I was 8 1/2 weeks and measured 12 1/2 weeks. I thought it was just in my imagination that my pants were getting too tight. I said it's too early! But i guess not. Anyone out there have twins? I am a high risk pregnancy because I will be 35 at delivery and I had toxemia with my first pregnancy. So i will be going to a specialist. I have an appointment in 2 weeks for another ultrasound. I'll update on that! TTYL!

Well, it's been a long time since I posted on this site but I've been following all of you and I just wanted to let you know that I've officially joined .....i just took a hpt and it's positive++++++++++++ I'm beyond excited! Anyway, i'm sure we'll be talking more!

the frappucinos are not actually sugar free....the flavoring they put in there are sugar free but the base that they use is not...at least that's what they told me. I really questioned them about that because they tasted way too good!
