So I begin my week of liquids on February 27 th. that's next week! Holy cow! Again, I am a March 6th sleevette. I have collected a few more Protein samples I haven't tried yet- bunch of nectar flavors and a few Robb? Protein samples. Whatever that guys name is lol

Anyway, you guys think it would be interesting to list out a few things about ourselves so we can get to know others a little better?

I'll go first: I live in Idaho but grew up in Florida. My husband and I have 8 kids between us- one by his ex wife and three by my ex husband. The oldest is 17 and is autistic. The youngest is two! We love outdoorsy stuff- camping, walking, hiking, picnics... Can't wait to enjoy those even more in a few months!

Hi Bringiton!!! First of all...love the name. I am also a March 6th sleevette!! Whoot-Whoot!!! Two weeks from tomorrow!

I'm in Northern California, but grew up all over the place! I recently remarried (less than 2 years) and my husband is truly my soul mate! My husband and I have 7 kids between us...sounds like we have a few things is common...Kids! Ours range from 21 to 8. I work full time as an accounting assistant for a moving company. And my hobby, which is what I'm doing to keep me from eating is quilting.

I have been heavy most of my adult life (and even as a kid, I can remember buying "pretty-plus" sized clothes) and I'm really looking forward to just being able to participate in my life with my new hubby!!!

Hi, I am Jan. I've been trying for over 2 yrs. to get approval for the sleeve. After being turned down 3x by one insurance company, we changed and the new insurance company approved the sleeve for me. I am thrilled. I will have the surgery on the 27th of March in Tallahassee with Dr. Crooms.

I'm originally from Nebraska and have lived in Florida for about 10 yrs. We have three wonderful sons. One is married and one is engaged. I like to cook and enjoy art and music. I am a retired OB nurse. I have a loving and supportive husband!

I look forward to knowing my March sleeve buddies. Soon we'll be on the loser's bench with the other sleevers and on our way to a better life!

March 7th is my date! I'm also in Texas (Dallas area) - seems like it is kind of the mecca for WLS surgery.

I'm new to this board but my surgery is March 4th. I have struggled with my weight since I was in junior high when I was diagnosed with PCOS. I have never been so excited to do something in my life. Good luck to everyone! :)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
