Thank you. All prayers and good thoughts are greatly appreicated. This in my 60 years of life is my first major surgery. I have a great surgeon and a wonderful husband to take care of me later, but, I have to admit that I'm a little anxious.

I am very proud of you and your persistence in the out to dinner event. I enjoy going out with my husband, and family. I am getting sleeved tomorrow and I know this will be a challenge the first time or two for me also. Keep up the good work and thanks for the inspiration!!!

Hi- My name is Jan and I am a retired RN, I worked mainly L&D, PP, and taught prenatal ed classes. I have been overweight since my last preg. 27 years ago and have been having problems with yo-yo dieting and various exercises since. I do love water aerobics. I have done much research on the VSG and think that it would greatly help me with my Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol problems. The weight has caused me knee and back problems which interfere with further exercising. I have been granted approval from my insurance company and have a surgical date of March 27th. I am looking forward to hearing from all of you and how you are doing. I wish for all of you the very best and a speedy recovery!

Hi, I am scheduled for a March 27th surgery date. I meet with my dr. on March 12th for a pre=op visit. I am excited but a little nervous. It's nice to have a site where we can help support and be there for each other. I can't wait to join the lossers' bench. I wish the best for all of you ! Looking forward to hearing about everyone's progress.
