Day one of pre op diet

I am on day one of my pre op diet for Dr. Fernando Garcia. I just want to be honest right now and say.....I HATE THIS! I know I can do it, but I don't like it and I feel a bit like a child who has had their toy taken away. I never realized how completely addicted I am to food until now.

Right there with you but several days it- it does get better. First couple days totally suck, and I've turned into a raging beotch with just about everyone! Funny thing I recognize how aggregated I am so I'm actually kinda enjoying the massive loss of temper.

Surgery on Monday - this is my 3rd week of pre-op dieting. I wanted to be sure I would achieve my pre-surgery weight loss requirement. Only liquids this weekend, but I have lost 12 lbs so far. Hoping for 3 more by Monday to meet the goal!

I promised myself I would really try not to be crabby...this is my decision and I want to succeed. So, I am willing to suffer for a little while for a long term gain! This is such a mental game!

I'll be starting my pre-op diet next week. I keep negotiating with myself on when to start! I know it would be best to start the diet even earlier than two weeks before surgery, but that child inside me is stomping her feet and saying: "I don't want to!".

start early! I have slipped one or two meals, but haven't beat myself up since I gave myself extra time. I'm traveling on business nearly all next week so that's also why I officially started a day early. There's one dinner that I absolutely can't get out of, so I've given myself more time to focus.
