I had Dr. Garcia and my experience wasn't like that either. My coordinators were available at the drop of a hat, I was in surgery within 2 hours of getting to my room, and no naked folks in plain view. I'm sorry that was the experience you had.

I've been the most sore today (day 3). The heart burn has kicked in, but is easily taken care of with zantac. I have no regrets. I'm already down 5lbs from surgery day. I went to full liquids today. I was able to do yogurt, but it sat heavy on my stomach for a while so I may hold off on that for a while. Life is good and it's just going to get better!

Diamondeyed and I are in Tijuana and doing great. I had my surgery earlier yesterday and she had hers last night. Everyone here at Mi Doctor is wonderful! Dr. Garcia has done a wonderful job! Diamond wanted me to help send a update for her because her phone isn't working that well here. I will try to post more details a bit later, but did want to make a quick update saying we are both well and sitting on the losers bench!

Diamondeyed, I spoke with Rosie and for Saturday it's you, me, and a married couple. So there will only be 4 surgeries that day. She didn't know the order yet.

I'm calling rosie today to go over a few things. You are the day before me. I think I'm more nervous about making sure i do everything right at the airport than i am the surgery.

I think I'm mostly concerned with what to pack clothing wise.

Diamondeye, I fly there on the 15th as well and have surgery the 16th with Dr. Garcia. What all are you packing? I am packing my bags tomorrow.

I am on day one of my pre op diet for Dr. Fernando Garcia. I just want to be honest right now and say.....I HATE THIS! I know I can do it, but I don't like it and I feel a bit like a child who has had their toy taken away. I never realized how completely addicted I am to food until now.

I had done everything, but book my flights and I did that tonight. It made me a nervous wreck! It definitely made it feel more real. This is really happening!

I won't miss wearing layers and layers of spanx just to smooth everything out. I won't miss being out of breathe when I go up and down our stairs. I won't miss feeling like I'm stuck in a giant shell that isn't me. I look forward to the day I hear, YOU are pretty instead of "you have such a pretty face!" I look forward to being able to keep up with my children. I look forward to not being a "new" me, but being ME.
