I am 38 and had my surgery in December. EASY PEASY. You won't remember a thing after they start your IV!

I'm 37 and I also had my surgery in December. What TheCurvyJ says is right! When they wheeled me in to the OR they said they were going to put some bandages on my legs. I remember raising my leg to facilitate that, and the next thing I knew I was in recovery!

The last thing I remember was taking a right turn out of pre-op. That's it. After that I was in recovery but don't remember any of that, just getting pushed back into a room. Stayed on the pain drugs and slept for the rest of the day. Got up, walked, pee'd got poked by various tech's, nurses etc. Watched a lot of sports center (was up all night since the nurses wouldn't let me sleep). Walked some more, drank some water and some protein. Went home...that's about it.

I have had 1 major surgery so far and this will be my the 2nd. I pray that everything will turnout alright! It will be okay! Think positive thoughts!
