Made my own riceless 'sushi'

Recommended Posts

Well okay it's not exactly sushi but definitely satisfied my craving for it! I bought these mini nori sheets recently- they had a roasted flavor very yummy and that's when I came up with this idea. I made riceless California rolls

Imitation crab meat

Nori

Sliced avacado

Julliened cucumber

Layed it all out on top of the nori like an open faced sushi and voila! I ate 2 of these guys with a little soy sauce :)

Sounds great.

I usually have some sashimi a couple of times a week for lunch. Love it.

Thanks all! I'm a sushi addict. I do allow myself to eat it out but really had a craving tonight and wanted something lighter so came up with this lol

I have allowed myself to eat a few pieces while out too but I get brown rice so I don't feel totally guilty doing it:)

Ummm sushi! One of my fav foods. There is a local restaurant that makes it fresh and does custom orders, I am hoping they have something low-carb I can enjoy then!

I've eaten salmon and tuna sashimi three times this week! I can do 3 pieces of medium sliced sashimi easy. I could probably do more but I don't want to push it. It works so well with my new tummy!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
