Just trying to get some feedback on Dr. Bessler from Columbia/NY Pres.? Anyone have surgery with him?

Hi - Dr. Bessler is doing my band to sleeve revision on March 20. Another Doctor in the practice did my band 6y ago. I like him and e seems to be wel respected

Hi guys. Having surgery with dr bessler soon. Waiting in a date. How did your surgeries with him go?

I hadmy surgery with one of his partners Dr Bagloo. All the Columbia docs are great. I know people who have used the others.

I was sleeved 7 months ago by Dr. Bessler and he was and still is great. Bessler is one of the top surgeons in the country. I love that he doesn't sugar coat his words he tells it like it is. I couldn't ask for a better experience during my journey.

That's exactly what I liked about him too

I originally wanted a lap band and saw Schrope. She recommended sleeve due to complications and such

Then I found out she was out of network for my plan. And the office put me with bessler. He was very straightforward and to the point and why didn't I want rny. He was also against the lap band unless I felt completely certain that was what I wanted.

So sleeping it is with bessler. Now if they'd ever give me a date .......;

My procedure with him was simple, quick and painless - even though he first removed the band THEN performed the sleeve. He is quick and efficient... what more can you ask for... still rated one of the best, btw!

I also had a wonderful experience with Dr. Bessler and his group. Can't recommend them enough!
