Water passes through the stomach & past the pyloric valve almost instantly.

I'm 7months post op & can drink 24oz in about a minute. If ou are under 6 weeks post-op take it easy though as tge staple line isn't fully healed yet.

I met with my Nut. today she said the sleeve holds about 10 ounces. We were talking about food though. Good Luck!!

I'm 6 months post-op, I'm drinking nothing but Gatorade today because of the electrolytes. Thanks guys
