We will both be going at the same time. I'm very nervous too. I went today to pick up some thing off my grocery list. I'm getting mine done in NY. Lenox hospital. Where are you at?

Must be a Monday thing! I was sleeved on the 18th and I have Fluid on my lungs due to the anesthesia. Tonight it feels like someone is stabbing me in the chest on my left side when I breathe, and when I laid down to sleep around 9:00, I felt like I was suffocating. I totally panicked. Waiting to hear back from my surgeon and hoping it's not progressed to a partially collapsed lung!

Holy crap! That's not good. I think I'm going to go start sucking on that blue thing with the ball and get my lungs ready. The hospital gave it to me and told me to start using it. I hope you will be ok. Keep us posted.

I was sleeved Feb. 20th. Got home today. My Nut said to start my Vitamins, big mistake! I was nauseous for a few hours after that. Fortunately I did not throw up. It hurts to cough but it is getting the mucous out. So definitely do your breathing exercises. Overall, I feeling ok, most of my pain is on the right where my surgeon stitched my muscle. It also caused a big dent on my side which I've read will go away. Been walking quite a bit, not far but often. Still have some gas pain in my right shoulder. I have never been so happy to fart in my entire life. Good luck to all upcoming Feb sleevers!

Yeah, I was having problems even in the hospital. They kept putting the oxygen on me, but this stuff didn't get really bad and painful until tonight.

I used the spirometer but managed to cough several times on my own. They put me on oxygen and gave me breathing treatments but that was bc I have asthma and sleep apnea. But once they saw I was doing ok they took them off by the second day. Now I can't fart or burp to save my life. I want to and I feel it but it just won't happen. My incision on the right side is what's really bothering me. I have to use my stomach binder so that I can walk comfortably. It hurt like hell when I took it off to shower today. But at least I didn't feel faint like the first time I took it off.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
