So I got a call from the surgery coordinator telling me I was approved. After 6 long months, so many different appointments and a mixture of emotions.. I am approved. I scheduled my surgery for February 14th.. It's ok because I don't have a Valentine but I'm sure I will have plenty after the procedure????. Now I need some if you inspirational people to convince me that everything will be ok and that this is a great decision.... Helllppp

It is great that you were approved! If this surgery is what YOU want, then you are making the right decision! If you have a husband and child, then their concerns should be thought out, but overall, you need to decide if it is right for you! So, good luck! Make sure to keep us posted!

Congrats on your approval! I received mine a few weeks ago. I'm scheduled for surgery January 30th and Wednesday when I started the pre-op diet it hit me as well. I've thought about this surgery a million times and am confident in my decision but as it gets closer (after such a long process!) I think it is natural to be nervous and be doubting yourself. Just rely on whatever motivated you through all the pre-op appointments!
