Holiday Melt Down-----time to get back on track!

I won't lie. I found myself slipping back into old habits and the holidays "killed me". I am frustrated with myself and need to get back on track. I find myself eating because my brain tells me too, not because I am hungry. I've let self doubting comments take over my actions, which is not acceptable. I CAN do this!! It's time to recognize that, regroup, and focus.

I am making this promise to all of you and hope that I will hold myself accountable to you. I am just over 3 months out from my 1 year surgiversary and need to get down about 30 pounds by then so as to not be embarrassed when I see my doctor. Here's to a refocused me starting now!!

Good luck dear. I found myself doing that as well during the holidays. I'm 16 weeks out and have a long way to go. I feel like I let myself down but I am re focused and back on track.

Way to go. I too went a little overboard during the holidays.Let's get our butts back on the program! We're here for you! Good luck.

Same here. I didn't gain but I haven't lost in the last couple weeks and I'm 5 months out. It's the damn carbs!!! I need to to back to basics and get the carbs out of my system. We can do it!

It is so easy to eat "bad" food over the holidays and tell yourself that it's just this one time...I certainly did it over the holidays. I don't think I will ever be able to have sweets in the house, it's not fair to my husband, but that's too bad.

Do you have any before pictures that you can look at? Think of what all you have been through in the last year and how hard you worked to get where you are. You can do this! Good luck!
