I'm 5 months post-op and had sex for the first time Sunday. Embarrassed to say I began to bleed during sex. I didn't notice until we were finished. I was beyond mortified.

I have an appt with my doctor. Has this happened to anyone else.

wow ! i had sex just one week after my surgery ...lol!!!i think that what you are experiencing is female related , and not anything to do with your surgery .....after all they are two different organs !. if it concerns you , you should definatley get checked !!!As for myself, i have the mirena iud and seldom ever do i have a period ! good luck!

If you mean "for the first time" yes you can bleed. Also depending where you are in your cycle you could also bleed. Don't worry it is a natural part of life!!

Hi Everyone. Happy New Year!

So my period showed up on 12/29 ended on 1/4. Now it's back. Not a full on period but enough to wear a panty liner. I'm trying not to worry. I emailed my doctor to see if I need to come in before my appt next week.

I don't think I'm pregnant. I did have to remind him to grab a condom after I realized he had gone in about 3 times but not all the way. It's too soon right?

12/23-24 intercourse

12/29-1/4 period

1/6 spotting / light period

IDK what to think anymore.
